Army Community Service Survivor Outreach Services Creates Custom Lapel Pins for Victory Junction Families of Fallen Heroes Weekend

The Families of Fallen Heroes Weekend is held at Victory Junction in Randleman, North Carolina each year.  Ft. Bragg’s Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) Program is the group that sponsors it.  The survivors of Army soldiers that died during active duty receive a variety of services from the group.  The weekend is one of the many ways the group reaches out to the military community.

• SOS provides the following services to survivors:
• Support groups where families and individuals can share feelings, burdens, thoughts, resources and information in a safe and understand setting.
• Care for Survivor Families beyond what Casualty Officers and Unit Care Teams can offer.
• Onsite professional financial counseling to assist families in adjusting to their unique monetary circumstance following the loss of a loved one.
