Participants Of 33rd British Motorcycle Meet Receive Customized Event Lapel Pins

The British Motorcycle Meet is an annual non-profit event held in Auburn, Massachusetts.  It features a British Only Flea Market of British motorcycles and parts as well as a wide assortment of vendors.  The first ever British Motorcycle Meet was held on November 3rd 1979 at the Triumph dealership of Wellesley, MA.

Now, in its 33rd year of meeting, hundreds of British bike manufactures like Triumph, BSA and Norton are scheduled to attend. Participants of the large northeast USA meet are in for a special treat this year. They are due to receive the new customized event lapel pins that All About Pins was commissioned to create.

Less Is More

With the event already being so popular, organizer’s decided to use a simple yet impacting lapel pin design. It’s traditional round shape, with white colored inlay, sets the perfect background for the British flag emblem as well as event related images and text shown in the center.  Its red outer edge with gold letters announcing the meet’s year and full name, will make it easy to remember this year’s event.

This special design feature allows us to produce pins in any shape imaginable.  When combined with the right elements, from simplistic to intricate design details, using a shape other the round adds to the lapel pin’s value.

Wisconsin Riders Get Custom Biker Lapel Pins to Support the Special Olympics

Few people know that the first Special Olympics was held in Chicago in July of 1968. It was started by Eunice Kennedy Shriver in 1962 as a summer day camp for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. It is hard to tell by the current involvement of nearly 200 million people around the world that the event began with just a little more than 1,000 participants 43 years ago.

Riding to Show Their Support

The 2011 Special Olympics will be held in Athens, Greece starting June 25th, which has generated a great deal of anticipation for the organization’s countless supporters, especially Wisconsin Law Enforcement. Officers and members will be doing their part to support the Special Olympics by participating in a charity motorcycle ride for which All About Pins was commissioned to create the custom biker lapel pin.

The motorcycle pin adds even more excitement about the coming of the event. The bright red flames against the black background suggest that something big is about to happen. The contrasting rich blue text makes the name of the ride boldly visible and easy to read.

Add-ons Create Character and Depth

The dangler add-on announcing the event year and displaying at lit torch adds a touch of fun and a sense of freedom that both the ride and the Special Olympics will inspire within its participants. However, danglers are not the only add-on option we offer.  For added character and depth of design, our customers can choose from glitter and glow-in-the-dark enamels, gemstones, bobble heads, sliders, cut-out and even blinking lights. In addition to those little extras, we offer custom shape, like the lapel pin shown above, which helps make the pin even more unique.

Mecum Auto Auctions Thanks Its Automobile Customers With Custom Car Lapel Pins

Mecum Auto Auctions has been hosting auto, marine and farming vehicle auctions for over 23 years. Its events are the largest car collectors’ auctions in the world. In 1965, Mecum sold a Daytona Cobra Coupe CSX 2601 for 7.25 million dollars which to date still holds the highest record amount of any American car sold at an auction. This year, on May 17th – 22nd, marks Mecum’s 24th annual Indy Spring Classic, a much anticipated event for which All About Pins was commissioned to design custom car lapel pins.

Collectible Pins and Cars are Perfectly Paired

Each client that makes a car purchase at the Mecum auction will also receive a customized lapel pin that is sure to bring a smile to their faces.  The lapel pins for this year’s auction are not only comedic, but are a great way to say thank you to customers also.  The lightheartedness and imagination behind the pin will ensure car buyers never forget this event experience.

Creative Features Draw In Both Old and New Clients

The only thing more attention getting than a bright red car is one with a drop top and a chicken head’s peering out of it. In fact, this is what gives the lapel pin design so much character. In addition to its humorous nature, the lapel pin possesses some other quality design features worth mentioning.

Not only does it depict a car, but its shape was customized to match an actual car’s contours.  Fine detailing throughout the car’s design give it a 3 dimensional appearance. Finally, serving as somewhat of a platform for the car and its driver, the word “sold’ stand outs from the yellow background reminding customers of the quality investment they have made.

Building Businesses Pin by Pin

Whether you are thanking customers or engaging potential ones, custom lapel pins offer an easy and inexpensive way of differentiating your organization from others and having something on hand to give as a thank you gift to clients for their patronage. Golf Channel Guests and VIPs Receive Custom Collectible Trading Lapel Pins

The Golf Channel was first launched by Joseph E. Gibbs of Birmingham Alabama, in collaboration with Arnold Palmer, in the 1995. Since then, the network has become available in over 120 million American home and the standard station for watching Golf on television.

Renowned Golf Events Find a New Home

In 2007, the channel partnered with the PGA tour to provide complete coverage of the seasons many golf events. One of the many tournaments that Golf Channel staff and viewers are looking forward to is the 2011 Kingsmill Classic which is schedule to take place on April 16th – the 17th and is completely sold out. Many of the events ticket holders will be receiving the custom collectible trading pins that the Golf Channel commissioned All About Pins to create.

Classic Memorabilia

Golf Channel’s 2011 Kingsmill Classic attendees and VIPs will get one of four custom lapel pins made not only for collectability, tradability, and remembrance but also for exclusivity.  Though having four different lapel pin designs may seem like a bit much, if you look closely at the pins displayed here, you will see that, in actuality, there are only two lapel pin designs.

Customized Pins Make Everyone Special

The two lapel pins that were made for general attendees are what we refer to as all metal designs.  That is not to suggest that we manufacture lapel pins with a material other than metal. By saying “all metal” we are referring to the pins lack of color. Rather than using color fills, the pins were given a high polished finish.

Golf Channel’s VIP lapel pins are virtually the same except for the use of color fills in the pin’s design.  Making a simple distinction, like only having colors on half of your custom pin order, is an inexpensive and easy way to have specific pins for sub groups.

If you are planning on hosting an event in which your attendees will belong to specific groups or categories, at least now you know you have the option of keeping the original mold and using only one or two pin designs. By making subtle distinctions to the pins you can still achieve the desired results.  Your efforts might mark the beginning a new collecting and trading pin tradition within your organization.

Call All About Pins today at 1-866-604-9462 to find out more. You can submit your inquiries and ideas to us via email at info@allaboutpins.com.  By placing your order today you will receive a digital proof of your custom lapel pin design, price quote, and domestic shipping at no additional cost.

Sherwin Williams Orders Custom Company Lapel Pins for its National Conference

National and regional conferences are events that frequently use custom lapel pins.  Recently, the paint mogul, Sherwin Williams commissioned us to create lapel pins for its national conference.

Custom Pins Are Always a Good Fit

Sherwin Williams was founded one year after the civil war, in 1866, by two men. Since then, the company has grown to be the largest producer of paint and coatings in the United States. It holds over 500 patents since its first resealable paint can in 1877.

Naturally, with this kind of growth and success, conferences are not only expected, but become necessary.  Sherwin Williams’ 2010 conference was held in Orlando.  This year’s conference is being held in Chicago. With the number of people that large company conferences turn out, customized lapel pins help to keep the event organized, uniform and flowing smoothly.

The lapel pin we created for Sherwin Williams is characterized by images of industry success.  Skyscrapers rising above a cluster of office buildings inspire a sense of business growth. Rich blue water combined with the Chicago skyline creates a sense of scenic appreciation.  Lastly, no conference lapel pin would be complete without recognition of its sponsors.  In this case, Krylon and Ace brand logos were used in the lapel pin design.

In the Business of Branding

The Sherwin Williams lapel pin is another example, of many, that shows the unlimited design potential of custom lapel pins. To make sure that their pins were perfect in every way, Sherwin Williams took advantage of All About Pins’ assortment of design options which include, but are not limited to:

  • Photo Etched, silk screen printed and photographic Images
  • Cloisonné, die struck, and soft enamel lapel pin styles
  • Crafting pins in any shape and size that is desired
  • Using add-ons like bobble heads and danglers

You can visit our Photo Gallery at http://allaboutpins.com/photogallery.html to see other organizational lapel pins we have had the pleasure of creating.

No matter the amount of growth your business experiences; lapel pins will always fit your its needs and budget.  For more information about how All About Pins can help you not only brand your company but also keep events organized and uniform, contact us today at 1-866-604-9462 or by emailing info@allaboutpins.com.

Corpus Christi’s Destination ImagiNation Team Get Custom Lapel Pins for the Journey

Destination ImagiNation (DI) provides creative, team building and problem solving educational programs to 100,000 students each year across the U.S. and in more than 30 countries.  The extraordinary 501(c) 3 non-profit consists of 1.3 million alumni and 35,000 volunteers.  With its mission being to enrich the global community by providing learners of all ages with opportunities to discover their creative potential, it is only natural that a team would request a custom lapel pin as creative and unique as its students.

A Team Pin Made to Compete

The series of team lapel pins we created for one of the DI teams, The 7, located in Corpus Christi, Texas is rich in color and design details. The lapel pin design truly works to display the team’s own imagination and original ideas to fellow competitors.

This four pin collection is of the cloisonné lapel pin style which gives the pins a jewel-like quality that is smooth to the touch. The ornate blue, green, yellow and red background colors with all of their sparkle and shine was achieved using glitter enamel as the color fills.  The remainder of the design, with its handheld game details, puzzles pieces and custom text, not only make the lapel pins pleasing to the eye, but also inspire a sense of excitement and fun.

Tradability is Always a Factor

The customized pins can also be used to show and trade at the teams’ regional, national and global tournaments. Aside from DI participants working within their teams to arrive at the most creative solutions to problems presented in challenge exercises, team pins offer an additional activity and means of boosting morale.

All About Pins recognizes and appreciates the effort that organizations like Destination ImagiNation put in to the nurturing and development of our youth.  By helping students strengthen their creative, teamwork and problem solving skills, DI is also arming them with the tools they need to design a successful future, something that we are happy we could be a part of.

You Can’t Strike Out When Trading Umpire Lapel Pins

Trading has become an integral part of the tournament experience.  Teams aren’t the only ones bringing pins with them anymore.  Umpires from around the world also like having the option to trade with teams and fans.  This gives the professionals something to look forward to as well as providing them with souvenirs to remember their experience by.

Umpire Trading Pins to Fit Your Personality

Due to their personal nature, trading pins tend to have higher perceived value than other types of memorabilia.  When creating your umpire lapel pin, you can make it exactly to your specifications.  Our goal is to provide you with something totally unique that reminds you of who you are as an umpire.  For example, if you are an umpire and love to wear Hawaiian shirts, we can create your artwork to include an umpire wearing a Hawaiian shirt.  Now, how’s that for inventive!

2011 Little League World Series

Umpire Randolph Myers is traveling to the World Series and wanted a pin that looked classic and had a clean layout.  We put together a design for him that included all the details that he deemed important.  These items included a baseball, baseball bat, catcher’s mask, baseball diamond as well as the words 2011 Little League World Series, District 37, and Randolph Myers.  Details like these increase the appeal of trading pins by making them more relevant and memorable.

The dates and sites for the eight Little League World Series tournaments for 2011 were announced on November 12, 2010.  Little League Baseball for 11 to 12 year old players will take place from August 18-28 in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  Teams from around the world meet and compete in the ten day event.

Trading pins have become a highlight of the tournament.  Players, spectators, coaches, and umpires meet in designated areas to look over each other’s trading pins.  Once they see a pin that they want to trade for, they approach its owner and work out a deal.  The bolder and brighter pins are often the first to be traded.

If you’re an umpire looking for a way to make this year’s tournaments even more exciting, consider speaking to an All About Pins sales representative about ordering your own trading pins.  Give us a call at 1-866-604-9462 or email info@allaboutpins.com.
